    Product feature
    1. Assembly/disassembly
Standard dome assembly: set-up of the poles with the bedroom, then subsequent fastening of the double roof above the rest. Reverse procedure when dismantling.
    2. Ventilation
1 high rear ventilation point, space between the flysheet and the floor all around the tent: to allow the air to circulate between the sleeping area and the flysheet, to refresh the air and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation.
    3. Protection from the sun
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door: protect your skin.
    4. Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field tested. (Polyester 2000mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 120 g/m², all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips). The presence of a breathable polyester sleeping area under the flysheet prevents contact with the condensation water droplets that can settle on the inside of the flysheet.
    5. Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).
    6. A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is provided to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary player in this environmental information approach. For more info:

    8. UV protection (protection against Ultraviolet rays)
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a significant amount of UV rays can enter through a single open door: protect your skin.
    9. Poles, pegs.
Hollow fibreglass poles (2 diameters Ø 7.9 and 8.5mm). 6 x 5 mm galvanised steel pegs for very good twisting resistance.

    • the actual size vs the product state

      Kriz (Hong Kong SAR China)
Used for 1 week or less
it is good for indoor camp, or a car camping,
but if you actually bring it for a wild camp, the actual space inside the tent is rather small than you expected due to its dom shape, as there is no actual sample set up in the store, we can hardly estaimate the using experience. also there are 6 pegs only while you needa buy extra peg for the ropes

also ,the bag for the equip is far too small, if you can't roll your stuff like the factory's seting, you can't put your tent and fly and stuff in to the bag again.

yet, i am happy with the instore experience and the quality, so i would exchange a arpenaz 3 instead, i also looking for any traditional tent with some space in front of the door to put my backpack,

by the way, the quality is good and i just need a bigger tent for actual usage :)
    • Good quality

      Jagjit (India)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
The stitches are strong ... Didn't expect it to be that strong. The waterproof base gets easily demaged....I think I need to put some sheet under it before setting it up. Took it to kheerganga trek and was a good decision as that place had about 3000-4000 people on that day and the tents were offered for 2k+++ rent. So it's better to buy this instead of renting it 2-3 trips will offset its cost.
    • Easy to choose(so many options), Good staff.
