The two holes let you insert the line to stop it slipping as you tune the sail, as well as the Phillips-head screwdriver to use as a lever arm when used as a screwdriver.

Enables easy screwing and unscrewing using the 2 cruciform and flat heads at each end.

If the screwdriver you are using does not have enough "grip", you can use winch as a lever arm. Just slide your screwdriver into one of the holes in the bar and use it as a handle to screw or unscrew.
