Care tips

Tyres lose pressure over time. On average, they lose 1 bar/week.
So remember to regularly pump up your tyres. Riding with under-inflated tyres reduces your battery range, requires more pedalling effort, and increases the risk of punctures.
Before performing any work on your electric bike (cleaning, electrical or mechanical maintenance), you must turn off your electric bike and remove the battery.
If you are not using your bike over the winter, charge it at least every 3 months.

User size and weight

The geometry of this bike offers optimal comfort for cyclists measuring between 1.45m and 1.85m.
This bike meets the requirements of the ISO 4210 standard for a cyclist weighing 100kg.

Great fun

For the price, a great bike to ride! A bit twitchy due to smaller tyres, great for shorter journeys.
electric folding bike.
Jasbir (United Kingdom) Used for 2 to 8 weeks
since receiving this e-bike i have had it taken to Decathlon 3 times as i have had issues with its power as it seems to cut off. looking to return once shops are fully reopened. this bike seems unreliable, and what staff have said it was just a lose cable if that is the case it should not happened a further 2 times.
great for cities

I purchased the previous version of this bike in 2018 and still have it (on its 3rd battery though but always taken care of by Decathlon), probably did around 2000 miles over the years with it and apart from replacing the tyres for better quality ones, the bike proved strong and easy. The only tiny annoying thing to me was the battery capacity (but limited by size as it goes in the frame), lasts for about 6-7 miles in top assistance mode.

Wow! great bike for nipping around and what a good price
Further to my April review
Nigel (United Kingdom) Used for More than 1 year
I wrote a positive review on this bike in April 2020 and I stand by most of what I said. However after going on a several rides with a friend who has an electric Brompton there are a couple of issues that have emerged over the Summer. Firstly the top gear is nowhere near high enough, I frequently found my self having to pedal so much faster to keep up with the Brompton being used in a high gear. Also I have noticed that the battery after eighteen months is not retaining it's charge so well as a year ago and the range of which the bike is capable has reduced somewhat. You get what you pay for I suppose and in this respect the 24V battery is clearly not capable of producing the range of 36V ebikes. Nevertheless if you just want to use it for commuting a few miles then the bike would be perfectly fine. It's the longer rides, particularly with other cyclists when the limitations become apparent.
Very good early impressions- annoying brake noise
William (United Kingdom) Used for 1 week or less
We’ve hardly used this for more than 5 miles so far, but early indications are very promising- reasonable price, nice design and foldable for taking away, good assistance electrically and local hill negotiated very easily.

The squeaking brake was noticed in the shop and we were advised that it should go away in due course. I’ve since removed the pads and cleaned the rims and pads with brake cleaner, even lightly sanding the pads at the same time but no progress, it’s just as squeally. It’s annoying! Any suggestions about what we can do to fix this enable us to shift from a 4star to 5 star review?
Surprisingly fun to ride
Jill (United Kingdom) Used for More than 1 year
Great little bike but not suitable for folding for public transport as this aspect is very poor. The bike does not clip securely when folded so it "flops" around and is very awkward to handle (- 1 star) There is not facility to lock the battery into the bike so it isn't safe to leave anywhere! (- 2 stars).
The other frustrating aspect of this bike is that it is impossible to find a bike rack and pannier set which fits. I have asked Decathlon themselves and they were unable to give me a definitive answer! (-3 stars)
If someone from Decathlon reads this and can provide this answer I would be very appreciative :-)
Great practical bike
Georgina (United Kingdom) Used for 3 to 6 months
This is a great practical bike & is so easy to fold & put into the boot or the car or caravan.
I bought this just before Christmas 2019 & it has gone up by a £100 now

Great value and engineering. I have yet to collect, ride and use but the feedback online suggests I will be happy. I see there are reservations about it being only 24v .....
Fast only when battery is 75% or over full

The engine really has some power but only after battery being fully charged. When battery is 50% or less then even the sports mode is slow, possibly trying to save battery, but if you select sports mode it's because you want the most power to be available and that does not happen.
