Water balls increase your muscle work!
We asked 25 people to do an elevated lunge (using just one hand) with a traditional 3 kg medicine ball, then with a 3 kg water ball.
At an equal weight, compared to a medicine ball, our water ball increased bicep work by an average of 36%, ab work by 21%, and glute work by 17%.
Your water ball will change in appearance over time
Before being filled with water, your water ball seems transparent. Some fabric effects on the interior may be visible; they are due to the manufacturing process.
Your ball will become opaque around 48 hours after being filled with water.
The water will leave marks in the ball over time.
Choose the weight of your water ball based on the muscles you work
If you already have strength training experience, the 3 kg water ball will be perfect for lower body work (lunges, for example).
You should choose a lighter ball for strengthening the upper body.
It all depends on your fitness experience as well: the more you train, the heavier weights you can use.
