Why this cover?
Currently, carrying your snowboard during daily use can be a bit risky:
_ scratching the base or the edges in the car park,
_ damaging the seats of your car with the edges.
This cover was designed to avoid these risks. The elastic cover option has been selected to make it easier to put on the board. When using it, we discovered another benefit in that you feel like you are "pampering" your board.
Watch out for rust
For a short trip, just remove the snow.
Once at home, take time to wipe the edges properly to prevent rust. The material around the edges on the nose and tail isn’t breathable but it is durable so your cover will last longer.
When first using, pull the zigzag seam at the ends to stretch it out.
It has to be snapped to stretch it out.
This may seem worrying because when you hear it snap you think you're tearing it but that’s not at all the case: the zigzag seam isn’t breaking, but it's a thread required for production and is no longer needed. So there's no need to worry ;)
Take care to avoid knocks
If you drop your board on the ground, the cover does not protect it from impacts. It is the travel bag for the grey Comfort 500 snowboard (8399495) that fulfils this role.
