Ergonomic handle
The handle of the SUBEA knife is designed for an easy and ergonomic grip in every position: hitting, stabbing or precision cuts, with the thumb on top. For use with the left or right hand. The handle also has a guard offering protection against the blade. It is made of recycled ABS.
Blade
The 420J2 stainless steel blade is very strong and rust-resistant. Double protection with an additional PTFE surface treatment that prevents direct contact between the stainless steel blade and the air or water, for even greater protection. The blade has a conventional part, a saw part and a cutter part. Three-quarters silk blade (long or 3/4 tang).
Dimensions and weight
Blade length: 10 cm
Total length: 22.5 cm (24cm with the sheath)
Total width: 4 cm with the sheath)
Thickness of the blade: 3 mm
Weight of the knife: 105 grams (205 grams with the sheath and straps)
Length of the straps: 50 cm
Attachment
The straps are made of silicone: for a fast hold against the neoprene. This also prevents the knife from moving and turning towards the diver. With this strap length, the knife and sheath can be worn on the forearm, the thigh, the calf or even on the Direct System of the buoyancy vest. The straps are closed with plastic clips so that the knife can be attached more easily.
