The component's waterproof properties
With waterproofing of 2000 mm, the Taiga 300 parka offers an extremely high level of waterproofing.
We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood by the fabric, the more waterproof it is.
a component with a waterproof rating of 2000mm can resist the pressure from 2000mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting 2 hours).
A score to compare the environmental impact of products
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire lifecycle using different indicators. An overall score of ABCDE is designed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...).
Decathlon is a voluntary participant in this environmental labelling initiative.
