Although this cover provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (from the water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc., must be taken into account. The Paruv 160 parasol is resistant to wind speeds up to 20 km/h when the base is buried in the sand to a depth of 25 cm.
The addition of an orange spiral base (purchased separately) can increase the wind resistance by a further 10 km/h.
