    Product feature
    1. Loft Power of the down/feather filling
For this down jacket with its 85/15 filling, the loft power is guaranteed to be 660 CUIN or more. The loft power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. So, the greater the loft of the down (the higher the CUIN), the more space it occupies, thereby trapping more air and the greater the thermal insulation.
    2. The advantages of a duck down and feather filling*
The down's long-lasting loft power gives it 3 important qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra-low weight: for the same level of warmth, feathers are lighter than synthetic wadding. This saves weight in your backpack - Ultra-compressible *Our feathers come from Chinese ducks raised for their meat. We collect their feathers after they have been slaughtered.
    3. Care instructions for padded jackets filled with down and feathers
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our advice by clicking the link below: How to wash and dry your down jacket

    4. In the event of rain
This down jacket fabric is water-repellent. It cause water droplets to slide over the surface of the fabric, which means it takes longer for the water to get inside the jacket, giving you the time to find some shelter. But the jacket is not waterproof. We therefore recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over your down jacket in case of prolonged exposure to rain.
    5. A rating for comparing the environmental impact of the products
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is given for easily identifying the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental information. • Simply effective

I'd been looking for a packable down jacket for a while when I stumbled on this one. It does everything I wanted without being flash and over designed. I also particularly like the fabric which isn't the current trend for a shiny finish. The only thing I would change is the red zippers. I don't like anything that is there to say look at me rather than just do its job.

    • Sizing all wrong!

      22/09/2016
      Peter (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
I'm 5'8" and 11 1/2 stone so I'd like to think pretty average.
I'm a medium in M&S, Fat Face, Whitestuff etc but I ordered a Large size after reading the reviews but that was skin tight. I ordered a replacement XL and that was fine on the chest but the arms were much too wide and I looked like the Michelin Man! So a complete waste of time and the added grief of having to pay for return postage just rubbed salt into the wound. Not impressed - although having said that the jacket looked good quality, it's just the sizing that's completely up the creek!
      Liked the orange lining.
Poor sizing - order two sizes up from your usual.
