    Product feature
    1. High down/feather fill power
This 85/15 padded gilet has a guaranteed minimum fill power of 660 CUIN. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. Down with higher fill power takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
    2. The advantages of duck down and feather filling*
The down's long-lasting fill power gives it 3 important qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. Which makes your backpack lighter - Ultra-compressible *Our feathers come from Chinese ducks raised for their meat, we collect their feathers after they have been killed.
    3. Care instructions for jackets containing down and feathers
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our advice by clicking on the link below: How to wash and dry your down jacket
    4. In case of rain
This down jacket fabric is water-repellent. It allows drops of water to roll over the fabric, which means it takes longer for water to penetrate the jacket, giving you time to get to shelter. But the jacket is not waterproof. We therefore recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over your down jacket in case of prolonged exposure to rain.
    5. A score to compare the products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle and with different indicators. An overall score of ABCDE is calculated to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). For Decathlon, this initiative to display environmental data is a priority. For more information:

This is a lovely fitting jacket, very comfy and beautifully warm. When zipped up all the way, it is really snug. You don't need to wear big bulky tops underneath as it's lovely and warm on it's own. I looked around before buying this so I think it's a good buy. I love it!
      Lovely fit and good price.
