Product feature
  1. Water repellency
Waterproofness is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's water repellency is its ability to make water bead and/or run along its surface. The garment soaks up little or no moisture, dries more quickly, and doesn't become heavier. Water repellency can also make it more difficult for its outer surface to become dirty. Water repellency is obtained by applying a treatment to the fabric's external surface.
  2. Product warmth
Ability of a product to offer protection from the cold.It depends on the material's thermal resistance and air permeability. The higher the thermal resistance, the more the product keeps the heat produced by the body while cycling.
  3. Care tips
Machine wash at 30°C. Synthetic programme. Turn the garment inside out. Use minimal laundry detergent. Do not add softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry.Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
  4. Product tests
Our team of product designers based at the B'Twin Village in Lille is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users. Our obsession is to create products that meet the specific cycling needs of our users and eliminate hindrances to a good cycling experience. We then test our products in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting them to real world conditions, like the ones you experience on your bike, can we continuously improve our products.

  • fantastically warm for the price

these have been great value - they are very warm and stand up very well to other much more expensive winter cycling gloves for sale
  • Best yet

    G (United Kingdom)

I've tried many pairs of winter gloves, much pricier too, and these are the best so far. I've used them on daily 30 min commute through latest scottish winter and always found them warm. Don't know how they fare in very wet weather, my main aim was to find a warm pair of gloves as my hands always suffered the worst.

Very warm but yet to test the waterproof element.
I bought size 2xl and they only just fit even though I dont have huge hands.
  • It did hold itself for about 30 minutes.

Good enough I suppose. Held and protected my fingers for 30 minutes at about 0°C. Adding windchill at 17 mph, I would say it did not keep my hands toasty but alright.
Decathlon has very good returns policies and a 2 year warranty! One would probably not go wrong with these if the temperature are in single digits and ride 30 minutes to 1 hour.
I wouldn't trust these for subzero though. Thanks.
  • Fab winter glove

These replaced my old winter gloves that had gone very sad. For the money they are really good. Yes, initially they are stiff and a tad bulky but they soon flex to your hands and the thickness is great protection against the UK winter. I commute all winter on my bike and love these gloves!
