  • Perfect

So light, so warm and retains body heat really well. Out the other night and it was -2 but I was snug inside with just a shirt underneath.
  • Dissapointed

I've always bought coats and jackets from Decathlon and been really happy with them . This jacket although it's very light and warm isn't waterproof. Worn it for the first time in the rain today which wasn't that heavy and came back with wet arms ! Not impressed at all
  • Weird damp spots that won't go away

    sam (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
A very light, compact, and remarkably warm jacket. But what kills the deal for me is all the "damp" areas (especially around the collar) that have appeared and that don't go away with washing. I have no idea what causes them, but the jacket has been in a closet for months with no change. Very weird and very disappointing, everytime I wear it it looks like I'm sweating profusely! Bad.
    Response of the brand
    Hi Sam,
Hope you are doing well, first of all thank you for your review and I'm sorry that you have had this issue with the Simond Down Jacket, I would agree pervasive damp is a weird one! I have passed your review on to the clothing engineers team at Simond who are going to look into it.Personally I have not encountered this problem, nor has anyone else that I have spoken with. In which case this may mean that it is a fault with the individual jacket itself. I would suggest getting in contact with our customer services team or pop in to your nearest store where we can exchange the jacket or at least find a solution for you.

  • Leaky

    loren (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Bought this a week ago and it's been consistently leaking feathers ever since. I don't know if it's just my jacket or if they are always like that but my previous (non-decathlon down) certainly didn't leak anywhere near as much!

It's a shame really because otherwise it's pretty good, certainly for the price.
    Response of the brand
Thanks for your feedback on the Simond light down jacket. It's a shame to hear about the issues you are having with the down. I have recently purchased the same jacket and so far its okay so I'm hopeful it's a one off. Please drop into your local store or get in touch with our Customer Loyalty Team where we can exchange the jacket for you.
