  • Excellent bike for the price, let down by staff

    Tof (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
I am reviewing this bike after riding heavily for the last few months, purchased in Oct 2017. The bike feels very sturdy and well built. The gears can be funny when changing but a little playing around, and you can sort this. I did not take it in for the free services which I should have but was prevented due to a shoulder surgery stopping me from any activity whatsoever.

Overall, for the £300 I paid for this, it is a very worthwhile investment and I am happy I chose this option. The Bike looks fantastic due to the lovely Carbon and Blue theme and it handles like a beauty.

The one star missing is only due to the attitude of some of the staff at Both Surrey Quays and Beckton who weren't very hospitable, not sure if I was the issue or if they just hated being there.

Otherwise, an excellent bike and I am hoping it lasts a 'Lifetime'
  • Value For Money, Perfect for Beginner

    Aaron (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Bought this bike based on some reviews on cycling forums and wasn't disappointed, its exactly as advertised, economic way to get into cycling while being spoilt with some of the feature you would expect from a more expensive brand and bike, for my first summer of cycling its been great.
  • Faulty product delivered with loose spoke

    Wright (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
This arrived today with a faulty spoke so is going straight back. Shame as I read lots of good reviews but I expect these were the product of Decathlon's content marketing department.

Anyway, I guess for £350 you can't expect a lot. But my advice is save yourself the hassle of having to return a massive box.
    Response of the brand
I'm sorry to read that the spoke was loose on one of your wheels. Please contact the loyalty team who can quickly dispatch any parts to directly or if you have a Decathlon store near you, our local workshop team will be more than happy to assist.
