    Product feature
    1. Durability
Double fabric thickness on the front of the legs. Fabric resistant to demanding vegetation generally found in forests such as brambles and ferns.
    2. Garment waterproof properties
These trousers have passed a shower test under 100 litres of water/sqm/hour for 3 hours. This test reproduces the same conditions as a heavy storm. For further information, go to the website.
    3. Pockets
2 hand pockets + 1 leg pocket with flap. Pockets are waterproof.
    4. Component breathability
To find out whether a component is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's RET, the more water vapour generated by an active body escapes through the fabric, and the higher the breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 920 = fabric with little or no breathability. RET of Inverness 500 Waterp trousers = 12 m/².Pa/W, very breathable.
    5. Water-repellent properties of the component
A fabric is water-repellent when water slides off the surface of the fabric, without seeping in. As a result, the fabric does not soak up water and remains light, breathable and warm. Fabric is rendered water-repellent by applying a treatment to the outer surface. We recommend that this treatment, which must be repeated during the life of the garment, be done after each wash. Products designed for this purpose are available in our stores. All waterproof trousers are water-repellent.
    6. A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its whole lifecycle and with different indicators. An ABCDE score is provided to enable easy identification of the most environmentally-friendly products when comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks). Decathlon is a voluntary supporter of this environmentally-friendly labelling approach. Website: Explanatory video:

    • Hunting waterproof trousers

      christopher (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I've had my trousers for nearly 2 months now, and I mainly used them for pigeon shooting, I've had a vary of weather while wearing them from winter sun to heavy rain and even snow and would definitely say they are warm, waterproof and very comfortable. They have two zipped pockets at the hips and a map pocket on the leg. I do find them a little longer in the leg though, and they slightly overhang my walking boots on the heels which I don't like. Something that could improve this is, a lot of hunting trousers have a zip system so It pulls them tight to your boots. What I do to get around this, i use ankle ties and this works fine for me.... I would recommend this product they do their job well
    • Thornproof trousers

      Paul (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I have crawled through recently cut thorn hedges and walked through wet kale and they have not disappointed. No thorn or moisture penetration. I have walked through brambles and they seem to slide off, just like they do off Barbour leggings. I have no use for the leg pocket but they don't seem to be available without. All in all a good buy and I will probably get another pair for next season so I have two on the go, just in case. I'm also considering getting the matching jacket.
These trousers are waterproof and thornproof
They're quite noisy. Snap broke but repaired.
