As a non camper I wasn't sure what to get or look for so bought more out of hope. No problems setting it up, ultra easy. Space inside was about what I expected for me and my wife. Three ppl would be a squeeze.
What made this tent so good was that we slept through a monsoon and I wondered if for such a bargain it would hold out the wet. Absolutely! Completely bone dry come the morning and this despite the area we camped in being flooded.
Folding up - I watched a short online video and was relatively straight forward to follow - took me about 5 minutes to figure out, and it went in the bag no problem.
Have camped several days and its been perfect.
I didn’t expect the description to be so accurate, but it really does go up and down very easily. The first time putting in down I watched an online yTube video first, as I’ve not had a pop-up tent before. Fantastic. I’ve already bought a second one for friends.
Love this great tent.
Lots of room, easily stored away.
Only used in back yard so far but built it and packed it away no problem. Seems ideal.
Not sure I believed the description/video that this pop up tent could be set up and repacked in a few minutes - but it can.
it is also very well made and at a keen price.
used through out summer and up to beginning of December in some foul and wet weather didn't leak or get blown away very good buy!
You really can't beat this tent for value. It's got the feel and performance of a far more expensive tent.
I've had quite a few tents over the years varying in price and quality so think I have good grounds for comparison. It packs away quite flat and is very light which makes it easy to pack in the car. Once you've got the hang of putting it down it really makes camping easy.
I mostly do 2 nights a time in it, but have done 4 nights before. Calling it a 3 man is a bit hopeful. My wife and 6 year old daughter stayed in it with me one time but it was a squeeze, and we were touching the inner tent with no real room to put any stuff. I tend to use it on my own and sleep diagonally (I'm 5 foot 10). It gives me plenty of room to put my kit without it, or me, touching the sides. Wind, rain - it stays dry and upright even in some pretty persistent heavy weather. Only issue is when the tent is wet/raining you get dripped on when you open the door and the wet door has a tendency to fall inside due to the angle it's at. No porch so muddy boots tend to be removed whilst sat just inside the door with legs outside. You then need somewhere to put them, so more reason not to have 3 people in it.
I don't need to replace it as there is nothing wrong with it at all even after considerable use, but if I do it will only be for one of the newer models with more features like a porch and overhang above the door.
This is my second pop up tent from Decathlon. I spent two weeks in France during which we had several storms and heavy showers. Our new tent did not let one drop of rain in despite the high winds. Easy to put up easy to put away. Reasonable price.
I thoroughly recommend them.
