Closing the tent is always a bit fiddley and every time we think we must have broken it. It hasn't happened yet and I hope never will.
The tent is very spacious and the double layer means it keeps quite dry if there is condensation.
Comfortably sleeps two. Very easy to assemble- bit trickier to collapse - but recommended.
As a D of E Manager I bought this tent for Gold where I needed something that could be up and down with minimum fuss - especially if I was battling the rain. I practiced putting this up and down when I got it and it was very straight forward. On expedition this did not disappoint - torrential rain for three days without one leak - very easy to assemble and disassemble - best £50 I have ever spent. I love it! I was going to buy the slightly smaller one but was encouraged that this one would provide extra room which it did. I couldn't be happier with this product - thank you decathlon!
This was a fab wee tent for my son and I but i did decide to swap for something bigger, however I could not fault this tent. Easy to put up and take down, handy for 1-2night sleeps
Easy to put up and because of the colour coded clips - fairly easy to fold up - will get even easier with practice.
great. the only thing I would add would be some sort of eyelet or fixing at the middle red bit on the front ground ground rail. In high winds wind gets under the front and lifts it up off the ground. A simple fixing here would stop this. I will get a tarp clip to secure it here.
Got the tent and used it last weekend. The tent went up in seconds and was comfortable and waterproof. There was very heavy rain overnight and the tent was dry and comfortable. I had a bit of a struggle in getting it back down and into it's bag, but will have another look on UTube before my next outing. I'm happy with my purchase.
Doddle to put up. Watched the video a couple of times and practised packing it down befor we went away , and armed with this knowledge it is also a doddle to pack down.
Lovely airy space, with places to put things.
We used it for a busy weekend in beautiful weather, so not sure yet how it will fare in wet or windy conditions.
The only problem so far is storing it - it's not the most convenient size or shape to store and keep away from damp and little nibblers. Good idea to consider this before buying.
I bought this for me to sleep in when I need to be able to put up and take down on my own. Very easy to pitch, just pop it up. Putting back in the bag requires a little more practice, but fine when you have worked it out. I used this in one or the worst thunder storms I have experienced camping. The torrential downpour went on for over an hour. I was warm and dry throughout. I wouldn't use for a longer stay as not much headroom, but this was obvious from the dimensions given.
I bought this tent from Decathlon in Angouleme 2 years ago after having had a quecha pop up tent for nearly 10 years which was becoming tatty after so many years use. (This old tent is still used regularly, water tight and survived some terrible weather). The new 'air' version is wider and seems a little longer too which is very welcome however I did find it 'lower' than it's predecessor making it difficult to get dressed etc. Have had two trips in it this year alone and it survived 'Festival Number 6' with no problem at all (there were so many broken and blown away tents all in the skips & written off cars due to the horrendous weather all weekend). I once watched a test on TV which showed fire crews firing water at pressure at various tents & the little quecha pop up tent did the best so I think the 'pop up' poles must be far more flexible and hardy being all fixed together that more 'traditional' tents.
Easy to put up and put down after a few practices
Head height a little low towards the back
