When active, the body creates heat which is maintained thanks to the item's thermal insulation. Where inadequate, the body cools and reduces blood circulation in the hands to retain the heat at the core. Gloves and clothing must be suitable to keep hands at a comfortable temperature. If in doubt, it is better to choose a pair of hiking gloves which are a little big rather than too small.
  2. Dexterity of gloves
The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves have been scored in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The higher the dexterity score, the closer the grip when wearing the gloves to bare hands. In particular, we tested how easy it is to get a jacket on and open it while wearing the gloves. The dexterity of these Trek 100 liner gloves is rated 4.
  3. Warning!
