Product feature
  1. Assembly/disassembly
Standard dome assembly: set-up of the poles with the bedroom, then subsequent fastening of the double roof above the rest. Reverse procedure when dismantling.
  2. Ventilation
2 vents at top, 2 internal doors with mesh upper section, space between flysheet and ground all around tent: to allow the air to circulate between the sleeping area and the flysheet, to refresh the air and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation.Fresh concept reduces the sun's heat.
  3. Protection from the sun
The Ti0² -coated fabric is SPF 50+. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door. Protect your skin with sun cream.
  4. Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field tested. (Polyester 2000mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 120 g/m², all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips). The presence of a breathable polyester sleeping area under the flysheet prevents contact with the condensation water droplets that can settle on the inside of the flysheet.
  5. Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).
  6. A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is provided to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary player in this environmental information approach. For more info:

  • Excellent quality tent

I bought this tent recently and have just used it for a 2 night camping weekend. I have to say it oozes quality at a fantastic price. It rained a lot and the inner tent stayed completely dry. There was no condensation inside thanks to impressive vents. The blackout facility worked a treat on a site lit with floodlighting. It was totally dark for a great sleep. I would highly recommend 2 things. The first is buy it. The second is buy a 2 man for one person and for two people get the 3 man. The two man was just right for me and my bags. Very good, well constructed tent that is easy to erect.

used this tent for a two day slalom kayak comp. and found it ideal , enough room for myself and my kit ( boat outside but paddles etc inside ) , kept me warm and sunge inside . I have used single skin tents for the same compo a year previous and froze but with the double skin of this tent iwas warm refreshed for the next day which helped my performance , looking forward to next season using this tent every time

I bought this to replace a pop up type tent that leaked badly when I used it last. I decided to go for this version as I liked the idea of blackout fabric and that it was meant to be cooler.

Just used it for 4 days in extreme sun/heat and thunderstorms! It was easy to set up. The tent stayed up when others were blown away! It stayed dry inside and I loved the fact I wasn’t woken up too early by sunlight coming in. Great idea!

My only criticism would be that you can’t avoid rainwater getting in when you open the tent as there’s no porch type cover and there’s no way to fasten the ‘doors’ open but for the price it’s a great tent!
  • Great little tents

Bought two of these for our kids who’ve grown out of sleeping in the Campervan with us. Used them last weekend when it was 27c with constant sunshine and they stayed cool and dark. Also pretty easy to put up and a lot easier to put down than pop ups we originally got elsewhere. Can’t comment (yet) on how they bear up in cold and wet weather.
