Product feature
  1. Sizing and fit information
Fairly slim-fitting. The jacket's inner volume allows you to wear it over a thin second layer such as a micro-fleece.
  2. Pocket system
2 hand pockets + 1 chest pocket with zip fastening.
  3. Adjustable jacket hem
    Elasticated drawstring + toggles.
  4. The product advantages
Thumbhole at the cuffs to prevent heat loss and improve comfort on the move.
  5. Thermal comfort and wind-proofing
Wind considerably increases the effect of the cold! With an outside temperature of 0°C and 20 kmph winds, it will feel like the temperature is -10°C. "Windproof" components help eliminate the discomfort linked to this "freezing effect". They are very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
  6. Water-repellent component (different from being waterproof)
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight, breathable and warm. A fabric is made water repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifetime (recommended after every three washes).
  7. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is given to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing and contrasting products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon actively promotes this environmental rating initiative. For more info:

Although this jacket is good quality, it does not have all the features from this page.
I was disappointed to find there is no drawcord on the hem as advertised and no adjustable sleeves. This means that it will be no good for trad climbing or long mountain days as the wind easily gets in as the waist is loose.

  • Brilliant jacket for activity

    Sideburnz (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
I really like this jacket. I tend to wear it when warming up for running and/or standing around before a race. It is nicely wind resistant and surprisingly water repellant too, but I would not say that it is a warm jacket - you still need to be doing activity to stay warm in this really (if wearing in chilly weather...!). I like the fact that it is stretchy. I am tempted to wear it rock climbing but I like it too much to risk ruining it on the rocks!
    Stretchy, water repellant
  • Great jacket for price

    brian (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Great jacket for price to cut the chill on breezy summer days. Shrugs off light showers too. Light but not flimsy. Only caveat would be to double check the sizing, I'm usually on the smaller side of medium but the jacket is a close fit, not a problem in this case as I bought it for cycling
Wind proof, very light and packable
  • Superb.

Love it. Hardly a day when I don't look forward to pulling it on.
    Lightweight, comfortable.
  • WIND JACKET for thru hike in New zealand

Used for 3 to 6 months
I weared it 5 months every single day during my thrue hike in New Zealand (TE ARAROA 3200 kms). Currently it is still good, there are not holes and the fabric are still pretty good.
i like it because it is pretty light and the jacket can dry pretty quickly (sweat, rain..). I used it under rain, sun, storm.
