Product feature
  1. Sizing information
Standard cut. The jacket's inner volume allows you to wear it over a warm second layer such as a micro-fleece.
  2. Pocket system
2 hand pockets with zip fastening.
  3. Jacket hem drawcord
    Elastic drawcords and toggles.
  4. Thermal comfort and windproof
The wind causes the perceived temperature to decrease considerably. With an outside temperature of 0°C and 20 km/h winds, it will feel like the temperature is -10°C. "Windproof" components help eliminate the discomfort linked to this "freezing effect". They are very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
  5. Breathability
In areas that are sensitive to wind (front and sleeves) the fabric has a windproof membrane; breathability is therefore lower. Performance is 2839 g/sqm/24h (according to standard JIS 1099 A). On the back and sides, the fabric does not have a membrane, to improve breathability. Performance is 3219 g/sqm/24h (according to standard JIS 1099 A).
  6. Water repellent property of the component (not to be confused with the waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water, and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. In order to reactivate it, follow the guide: https://www.quechua.co.uk/advice/how-do-you-restore-water-repellent-properties-your-jacket-a_86426
  7. Recommended additional product
Wash-in waterproofing product that restores the water repellent properties https://www.decathlon.co.uk/eco-wash-in-proof-250-ml-id_8408883.html It restores the water repellent properties of the fabric and optimises the performance of your garment throughout its lifetime.
  8. A score for comparing the products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is given to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing and contrasting products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon actively promotes this environmental rating initiative. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
