Product feature
  1. Sizing information
Slim fit. To be worn preferably directly over a hi-tech T-shirt and possibly a lightweight microfleece if sufficiently fine.
  2. Pockets
2 hand pockets + 1 chest pocket with zip fastening.
  3. Jacket hem drawcord
    Elastic draw-cords and toggles.
  4. Thermal comfort and wind-proofing
Wind decreases the perceived temperature considerably. With an outside temperature of 0°C and a 20 km/h wind, the perceived temperature will be -10°C. The so-called "windproof" components eliminate the discomfort associated with the "wind chill" effect. They are very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
  5. Breathability
Mesh side panels for more breathability. Fabric on the sleeves and back with a windproof membrane with a breathability of 2644 g/sqm /24 hrs (according to standard JIS 1099 A).
  6. Water repellent property of the component (not to be confused with the waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water, and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. In order to reactivate it, follow the guide: https://www.quechua.fr/conseils/comment-reactiver-la-deperlance-de-sa-veste-a_86425
  7. Recommended additional product
Waterproofing spray for leather and textiles. https://www.decathlon.fr/bombe-re-impermeabilisant-id_5954981.html Regenerates the water repellency of the fabric and optimises the performance of your garment throughout its lifespan.
  8. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. A score from A to E is provided in order to easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks). Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental properties of its products. Explanatory video: https://youtu.be/8t63KkRwn_8 sustainability.decathlon.com
  9. A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle and with different indicators. An overall ABCDE score is attributed to help you more readily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks). For Decathlon, this initiative to display environmental data is a priority. Explanatory video: https://youtu.be/8t63KkRwn_8 sustainability.decathlon.com
