Product feature
  1. Sizing information
Quite a close-fitting cut. The jacket's inner volume allows you to wear it over a thin second layer such as a micro-fleece.
  2. Pockets
2 hand pockets + 1 chest pocket with zip fastening.
  3. Thermal comfort and wind-proofing
Wind decreases the perceived temperature considerably. With an outside temperature of 0°C and a 20 km/h wind, the perceived temperature will be -10°C. The so-called "windproof" components eliminate the discomfort associated with the "wind chill" effect. They are very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
  4. Jacket hem drawcord
    Elastic draw-cords and toggles.
  5. Breathability
The main fabric used throughout the jacket, except at the sides, has a wind proof membrane with a breathability of 2814 g/m2 per 24 hrs (according to the JIS 1099 A standard).
  6. Water repellent property of the component (not to be confused with the waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water, and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. In order to reactivate it, follow the guide: https://www.quechua.fr/conseils/comment-reactiver-la-deperlance-de-sa-veste-a_86425
  7. Recommended additional product
Waterproofing spray for leather and textiles. https://www.decathlon.fr/bombe-re-impermeabilisant-id_5954981.html Regenerates the water repellency of the fabric and optimises the performance of your garment throughout its lifespan.
  8. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most environmentally-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc). Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental data of its products. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
