Product feature
  1. Crosscontact sole
The sole design is the product of a lengthy research process conducted in our laboratories, which has been combined with a special rubber formulation to optimise grip and traction. Given the variety of different needs, we always seek the best compromise for walking on dry and wet terrain.
  2. Waterproofing test
Footwear waterproofing test: These laboratory and field tested boots have a breathable and waterproof membrane ensuring optimum protection from the rain. First, the boot is immersed in water with pressurised air inside to check that no bubbles form on the surface. The boots are then fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking when half immersed in water so we can test that the inside remains perfectly dry.
  3. Waterproofing level
During the waterproofing test, we test 3 levels of waterproofing: 2000 flexes (around 4 hours of walking), 4000 flexes (around 8 hours of walking) and 8000 flexes (around 16 hours of walking). Naturally, after this test or in use, the boot regains its original waterproofing once dry. The MH100 Mid waterproof boot passed the test involving 4000 flexes.
  4. Making waterproofing last longer
A boot's waterproofing is often undermined by water getting in through the top. To keep your feet dry for longer, we recommend wearing waterproof gaiters or mini-gaiters to protect the top part of the boots and prevent water, pebbles, sand, etc. from getting inside. To restore the original water repellent properties and prevent staining the outer surface, spray with a waterproof spray several times a year.
  5. Weight
    395 g per boot in size 5½
