  • Screws did not fit to frame

    Lo. (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
I wasn't able to attach the pannier rack to my Tilt 500 as the 15mm screws didn't fit the frame, the holes were drilled too small. Had to take it to my local bike Co-Op for them to order in new screws to fit the rack at a cost. Not ideal. Nicely made otherwise, albeit a bit heavy.

It fit the tilt 500C1 bike perfectly and easy for fitting shopping basket.
  • Heavy and difficult to fit. Bought for Tilt 500

Same issues as other users- the rack is one of the heavier I've seen - I'm really not sure why you would design a heavy rack for a folding bike (the one second clip mechanism is what makes it so heavy)- hopefully you will make a lightweight rack soon (like half the weight), particularly as other lightweight racks for folding bikes don't fit the Tilt 500.
The screws are an extremely tight fit- I had to put a lot eight behind them - to the point that the hex key was flexing (and yes, I did check that I was threading them straight). It's securrely fitted now, but the screws are not all the way in.
I wouldn't really reccommend this product apart from it's the only one you make that fits the bike.
  • Great on a Hoptown

    Sue (United Kingdom)
Used for 7 to 12 months
Steel rack is slightly heavy but comes with fitting for a Tilt and Hoptown. Took about 20 minutes to fit. Spring clip for basket very good.
  • Missing parts on every item in stock!

    Najeeb (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
I bought this in-store to go with my Tilt 720. One of the bike staff said it would take 10 mins to fit. 20 mins later he was apologising to me saying that there were some parts missing from the items. He tried 2 other items of the same rack in stock - also missing the same parts. I was very disappointed. Seems like a factory gate problem with parts missing.
    Response of the brand

Sorry to hear that you were not able to get this rack fitted to your bike in your local store. Usually if parts are missing it will tend to be with 'customers' taking the bolts etc. What part was missing if you know? I can pass this onto the product manager to he is aware of this issue. It may be a batch problem.
