Product feature
  1. A word from the product manager
We wanted a versatile board for those who are not attracted to the snowpark. This board is suitable for on and off-piste use, without requiring excellent technical and physical abilities, unlike the Dreamscape 700 for example. So much fun!
  2. Programme/terrain
The Serenity 500 is the All Mountain board par excellence: 50% piste and 50% off-piste. You can go anywhere, on all types of snow, on groomed slopes, off-piste and, of course, on powder. Do not go to the snow parks: this board is not designed for modules or riding switch.
  3. Directional snowboard
The shape of the board is directional, that is to say that the board has a front and a rear. It is not symmetrical; the rear of the board is slightly narrower than the front and the bindings, as well as the contact points of the snowboard, are set back slightly. A directional shape gives better edge grip when turning, better control of the trajectory and more acceleration on exiting turns.
  4. Standard camber + rocker
All the advantages of both the standard camber (thanks to the board's elasticity, a standard camber serves as a spring to provide grip on all types of snow, edge-to-edge dynamism and recoil when coming out of turns) and the rocker (under constraint, the board's points of contact with the snow come closer together, making the board more manageable). The rocker elongates and raises the nose so that it can glide better over powder.
  5. Medium and versatile flex
Flex is the stiffness of the board between the front and rear. The flex of the Serenity 500 is about 3/5, which is medium and versatile. It is reliable in carved turns while also being forgiving of edge mistakes.
  6. Medium and versatile torsion
The torsion, i.e. the torsional stiffness of the board between the feet, is about 3/5 on the Serenity 500, which is fairly stiff for good hold in the curves, recovery coming out of a turn and responsive edge transition. This also makes the board suitable for intermediate to advanced levels, while remaining very accessible physically.
  7. 15 mm setback
The setback is when the board's compression points on the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance. 15 mm setback = significant setback for directional boards. It gives better stability in turns and lift in powder snow because the weight is at the rear of the board which naturally makes the front rise.
  8. Technical information
Size 152 cm Front width 279 mm. Centre 240 mm. Rear 279 mm. Radius 8.0 m Effective edge 1,097 mm. No. of inserts: 8 + 8 (3 possible positions per binding / 40 mm between each). Recommended stance: 515 mm.
  9. Recommended bindings
With the Serenity 500 binding, the board + binding combination will be very homogeneous in terms of level and the design is coherent.
  10. When should you wax your snowboard?
Wed'ze boards are supplied already waxed. They then require regular maintenance like all snowboards and skis: ideally waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: - either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide - or at the end of the season so that the wax protects the base all summer long
  11. Which size Serenity 500 should I choose?
Choose -15 to -20 cm on the All Mountain (for example, a person who is 1.74 m tall should choose a board between 1.59 m and 1.54 m in length). Because the Serenity has a rocker, choose one a little larger. If you choose a shorter board, it will be easier to control. This is also advised for people who are light for their height. A bigger board will be more stable at high speed. 147 cm: 1.6 m to 1.67 m 152 cm: 1.65 m to 1.72 m 157 cm: 1.7 m to 1.77 m
  12. Glide quality: extruded sole + graphite
The bases are made from polyethylene using 2 different technical processes: - extruded base, with a certain density of polyethylene - a sintered base, with a higher density of polyethylene (fewer holes, more PE) This base has black strip with graphite on the side where there is the most friction. This strip is harder, more slippery and durable over time than a simple extruded base.
  13. Can I get my snowboard bindings set up in store?
Yes. On this product page, you'll find a video that shows you how to set up snowboard bindings, however you can also ask your store to set up your bindings to suit your own preferences. Ensure you have your snowboard boots with you so you can check 2 things: _ the front and back of your bindings so that the boot toe and heel overhang by an equal amount on either side, _ your binding straps so they fit your boots properly.
  14. 0% Park: can I perform jumps with this board?
Yes. 0% Park just means that the technical features of this snowboard are not designed for freestyle riding: the board is neither short nor symmetrical at front and back, making it possible to perform all freestyle movements such as rotations, jumps with a switch landing, etc. but it's not really the best board. However, on or off-piste, you can do all the straight jumps you like.
