Product feature
  1. THE STORY OF THE ROCKRIDER 560 MOUNTAIN BIKE...
Entirely designed and developed in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille), this mountain bike is the fruit of the work of an expert team of passionate mountain bikers. The Rockrider team designed and tested the Rockrider 560 mountain bike with their mountain bike testers.
  2. A UNISEX MOUNTAIN BIKE
Men's or women's mountain bike? The Rockrider 560 mountain bike is unisex. For greater comfort, the women on our team recommend the Rockrider 560 W mountain bike. Designed specifically for women, the saddle and stem are better suited for women's bodies.
  3. HOW DO I CHOOSE MY MTB SIZE?
Several sizes available: S: between 1.50m and 1.64m M: between 1.65m and 1.74m L: between 1.74m and 1.84m XL: between 1.85 m and 2.00 m If you are on the limit between 2 sizes: Choose the smaller size for easier steering (easier to handle) and comfort (straighter back). Choose the larger size for easier pedalling with a more stretched-out position (position more suited to performance).
  4. A LIGHTER FRAME
Our teams have specially designed the Rockrider CGF Pro frame in 6061 aluminium (only 1.6 kg in size M). It is 300 grammes lighter than the CGF Evo on the RR520/RR540, thanks to the "double butted" front triangle. It is also more stable when turning thanks to the lower bottom bracket, and easier to handle thanks to the short chain stays.
  5. FRONT SUSPENSION: 100MM TO OVERCOME OBSTACLES
Tackle obstacles with the ROCKSHOX XC30 fork. Its 100 mm travel allows you to calmly move over more obstacles (roots, pebbles, stones, mud). Use the wheel on the left blade to adjust the stiffness of the fork based on your weight. Its COMBO LOCK quick-release handlebar system helps to prevent bobbing on rolling sections.
  6. REAR SUSPENSION: None
This mountain bike has no rear suspension. This is a "semi-rigid" mountain bike. Compared to a full suspension mountain bike (with rear suspension), the advantages are clear: lighter weight, you will spend less energy on flat ground. However, if you want more comfort on technical trails, the RR 560 also exists in a "full suspension" version with a rear shock absorber (RR 560 S).
  7. DERAILLEUR & DRIVE TRAIN: REACH GREAT SPEEDS
2 10-speed chainwheels, or 20 speeds to avoid doubles and lighten the bike. 2 quick and easy shifters on the handlebar. Left (chainrings): control ascents/descents. Right (speeds): more precise control over your pedalling. In detail: - Double chainwheels - 24 and 38 teeth - SRAM X5 front derailleur - SRAM X5 rear derailleur - SRAM X5 shifters, with speed indicators - SRAM PG1020 10 cog cassette, 11 to 36 teeth
  8. HANDLEBAR, STEM, GRIPS: EASY HANDLING
With its adjustable stem, the RR 560 controls are close at hand. The all-aluminium B'Twin stem is 70 mm (size S), 80 mm (size M/L), or 90 mm (size XL) and can be raised using 5 adjustment intervals: + 0 mm, + 7.5 mm, + 15 mm, + 22.5 mm, + 30 mm. Ergonomic grips for a natural grip without getting tired.
  9. Saddle / Seat post: comfortable and sporty seat
Since your mountain bike rides will get longer and longer, it is important to have a suitable seat. So our teams have designed the exclusive B'Twin Ergofit Evo saddle. Suitable for all hip sizes, its "hammock" shape is particularly good for sport touring. Along with the 27.2 mm diameter aluminium FLEX seat post, it guarantees greater comfort. Easily adjust the seat height using the ergonomic quick release on the seat clamp.
  10. DOUBLE HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES: GET A GRIP ON YOUR BRAKING
No matter what conditions you ride in (dry/wet), the B'Twin by Tektro 160mm double hydraulic disc brakes will do the job, even in the mud. Hydraulic brakes are more powerful and progressive, requiring much less effort when applying pressure on the levers. The Tektro aluminium brake levers are easy to handle, lightweight, and precise.
  11. LIGHTER DOUBLE-WALLED 27.5" WHEELS
Embark on new adventures with the AERO TRAIL PRO 27.5" double-walled aluminium wheels. These specific sleeved-jointed rims combined with lighter tyres are 600 grammes lighter than those of the RR 540. The 27.5" diameter is the perfect balance between comfort and performance. With 28 spokes, they are lighter, while still guaranteeing rigidity and durability.
  12. WIDE, LIGHTWEIGHT TYRES
The exclusive HUTCHINSON COBRA AIR LIGHT 27.5" x 2.10 tyres are lightweight. Wider, they have side lugs specially designed for all-terrain riding.
  13. WIDE PEDALS
The RR 560 comes with B'Twin Flat Evo mountain bike platform pedals, with a wider pedalling surface and more prominent studs for a better grip on the pedal.
  14. EASILY TRANSPORT AND STORE YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE
Cycle touring does not start from home; that's why we have made it easier to remove and replace the front and rear wheels. They are equipped with a quick-release system.
  15. Weight
12.85 kg in S without pedals. 12.95 kg in M without pedals.13.00 kg in L without pedals.13.15 kg in XL without pedals. The weight can vary based on the tolerance of the components. The bike comes with B'Twin Flat Evo platform pedals. The total weight (bike + rider) should not exceed 120kg.
  16. Accessories
Your RR560 mountain bike comes with a bell, lighting, wheel reflectors, and pedals. The frame is compatible with: - front and rear mudguards, - stand, - bottle cage, - saddle bag, - cyclometer/GPS etc.

I bought this bike a while back.. It is very light and the gearing is good.. Great value for money and rides well.. I bought it to replace my stolen trek 4300 and i would say it compares well.. I wasn't a fan of disc brakes but these have converted me.. I highly recommend this bike for anyone wanting a good value mountain bike for off road fun..
