    Product feature
    1. PPE visibility
Personal Protection Equipment-certified blaze colour. This product must be worn over all other garments and not covered with anything else, such as a parka, poncho or backpack. Protection is not guaranteed in the absence of natural light. PPE for non-professional use. Wearing these products does not dispense the wearer from complying with current safety codes when hunting (see instructions).
    2. Warmth
3 in 1 parka: warm detachable fleece lining.
    3. The component's waterproof properties
With waterproofing of 2000 mm, the Sibir 300 parka offers an extremely high level of waterproofing. We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood by the fabric, the more waterproof it is. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting two hours).
    4. Garment waterproof properties
The parka has passed a shower test under 100 litres of water/sqm/hour for 4 hours. This test reproduces the same conditions as a heavy storm. For further information, go to the website.
    5. Component breathability
The breathability of a fabric is measured in RET (Resistance to Evaporative Heat Transfer). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by an active body escapes through the fabric, and the higher the fabric's breathability. The RET measurement is calculated on a finished product. Overall Sibir 300 RET = 12 M2.Pa/W, breathable.
    6. Water-repellent properties of the component
A fabric is water-repellent when water slides off the surface of the fabric, without seeping in. As a result, the fabric does not soak up water and remains light, breathable and warm. Fabric is rendered water-repellent by applying a treatment to the outer surface. We recommend that this treatment, which must be repeated during the life of the garment, be done after each wash. Products designed for this purpose are available in our stores. Solognac Sibir parkas have a water-repellent treatment.
    7. Hood
Height-adjustable with elastic drawcord + toggles. Depth can be adjusted using the riptabs positioned at the back of the hood.
    8. Pockets
2 hand warmer pockets + 2 flap pockets / 1 outer breast pocket that closes with a zip under a flap.
    9. A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its whole lifecycle and with different indicators. An overall score of ABCDE is designed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary participant in this environmental labelling initiative. For more info:
