    Product feature
    1. Waterproofing
To face different weather (rain, snow, wind...), the SLIDE 900 trousers have been developed and produced using a special component to prevent water from entering. To check that they are efficiently waterproof and watertight, these trousers have been placed in a special shower reproducing the conditions a skier may have to cope with.
    2. Water repellent component
Water repellent fabric allows water to run off its surface without seeping in. Wed’ze trousers have water resistant materials to prolong their resistance to bad weather and to prevent water from getting into the trousers. It is an additional technical solution to make sure you stay dry as long as possible throughout the day. You should repeat this treatment regularly using products sold in our stores to maintain these properties.
    3. Coating treatment
The coating is a waterproof "substance" that is spread on the inner side of the fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by an active body to escape. So you will stay dry and comfortable while hitting the slopes
    4. Membrane
The trouser membrane consists of a very thin component applied to the inner surface of the outer fabric. This hydrophilic component prevents water from seeping in while wicking away perspiration. The NOVADRY membrane is unbeatable when it comes to staying warm and dry
    5. 100% taped seams
Adhesive and waterproof strips applied to seams inside the garment to make it perfectly waterproof. Garments made from even the most waterproof of fabrics will still let water in, unless the seams have been totally sealed. The same goes for zips, they are critical points for garment waterproofing: they must be completely waterproof when closed.
    6. Thermal insulation
So that skiers feel "neither too hot, nor too cold", the garment must be able to adapt to the body's physical movement and the outside environment. We use wadding for insulation to keep you warm. The wadding is a synthetic material with a polyester base that stores a greater or lesser quantity of air depending on the size of fibres used. There are different types of wadding, including standard, technical and siliconized, which all have different properties (for warmth, lightness and suppleness...)
    7. Breathability
To find out if a fabric is breathable, its evaporative resistance, called RET (standardized test ISO 11092), is measured. That's its ability to let the vapour produced by the body during physical exertion escape, to avoid having too much water on the skin. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Wedze uses technical components and solutions (zips, ventilation, mesh) preventing condensation inside the garment. RET Slide 900 trousers <12
    8. Durability
We take particular care in choosing all the elements used in our products. The durable materials and sturdy assemblies are tested during highly instructive testing days! In particular, our trousers are all equipped with edge protection panels at the ankles to minimise any damage to the trousers from the ski edges.
    9. Wadding thermal lining
Thermal insulation is the ability of the garment to adapt to the physical behaviour of the body and the external environment by providing the best thermal comfort throughout activity (= Neither too hot nor too cold). We use wadding for insulation to keep you warm. The wadding is a synthetic component with a polyester base which takes in more or less air depending on fibre size, to help keep you warm for as long as possible.
    10. Thermal insulation recommendation
To be prepared for all types of weather, layering is the best option. However, you shouldn't do it with just any kind of garments: In direct contact with the skin, choose high-tech, warm but also breathable liner-trousers (for perspiration wicking). There's nothing worse than having wet legs due to sweating when out skiing. Avoid cotton and go for something synthetic, more breathable, better ventilated...
    11. RECCO® search and rescue system
The RECCO® rescue system features a two-part technology that is used by the emergency services in most ski resorts. The RECCO® detector used by rescue teams emits a directional signal. The RECCO® reflector built into the jacket returns the signal. This generates an audible sound which guides rescue personnel directly to the person needing assistance. Before setting out, make sure you get the information you need from the professionals of the resort

    3. Storage advice
Store on a hanger and do not fold, as this can damage the fabric coating. Make sure that the garment is completely dry before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
    4. Cleaning advice
To optimise the performance and durability of your trousers, we recommend you: Machine wash separately at 30°C. Synthetic cycle. Turn inside out. Use a small amount of detergent. No softener. Wring out manually. Dry on a hanger in a warm, well-ventilated
