Product feature
  1. THERE IS A STORY BEHIND THIS BIVVY
TEAM CAPERLAN engineers and designers developed and tested this product in Cestas, in the Gironde region of France. In the heart of the Landes region lie the big lakes and still waters that are famous throughout France for their big fish and extreme conditions. The supercharged giant carp there really put our teams and products to the test. SATISFIED ANGLERS, THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HERE FOR!
  2. A BIVVY THAT MEASURES UP
The folded size of the bivvy: Height: 155 cm, Width: 240 cm, Length: 295 cm . The bivvy interior is large enough for 2 anglers with room for their bedchairs.
  3. WEIGHT
At 11kg and with straps on the carry bag, the Tanker is easy to transport.
  4. TOTALLY WATERPROOF
The durable 200 denier fabric will stand up to bad weather. The totally waterproof fabric will keep you dry whatever the conditions.
  5. KEEP IN MIND
A fly cover compatible with the Tanker is also available on our website.Bivvy fly covers are essential for withstanding extreme conditions (winter, heavy rain...), and they also prevent condensation in your tent.
  6. AGAINST THE WIND
The 16mm aluminium poles allow the tent to withstand strong winds up to 80 km/h

The tent it's self is good but with out the overwrap leaks like a Siv
    Response of the brand
    Hi Joe,

Many thanks for your mail. The Bivvy should be fully waterproof without the use of the overwrap which is to give added insulation and prevent condensation, my apologies if this not the case with yours and there would appear to be a problem with the product. Please could you return it to your closest store or via the online process for an exchange?
    Kind Regards,

I've now used this bivvy on five sessions. Some advise, put some vasilean on the pole ends ( they can stick). Also I have sown in some jml fly screens. Its a shame it's not built in. The bag could be larger, but I bought a golfing bag from decathlon that I can get the bivvy in with the ground sheet still in place.
By pushing the rear framework up you can make the bivvy small enough for a one man for those tighter swims.
Great price. Great in store support. Good quality.
No fly screen.(Bag is too small over wrap no room)

needs some form of porch for front as can see it being a problem in wet weather when door is open due to sloping front.
    spacious interior, visibility,
needs a porch to prevent rain at front
