    • Gutted I bought this Bike.

I purchased this bike, because of fairly good reviews. Thought the bike would maybe last at least 12 months, then probably either replace parts or buy another., cheap mode of commuting. I bought the bike in mid sept 2017, after 5 weeks the bike started with creaking noises. Phoned shop and arranged to call in (Manchester). The staff did their free service and cleaned chain, they couldn't identify the noise. I rode home, still creaking.
Arranged to leave the bike on fri 17th Nov over weekend for repairs.
Picked bike up on Monday 20th nov, has had a new bottom bracket and crankset fitted.
After a week or so creaking was back again. Phoned up to report problem and was told that maybe doing 70 miles a week was too much for this bike. What?
Took the bike back to store on Sat 16th Dec. Had new chain, new cassette and eventually a new rear wheel. (I had to pay for chain and cassette).
I used the bike for 3 days before Xmas with no problem. 1st week back at work and the creaking is back again, sure its the cheap rear wheel.
I am so fed up with this bike wish I would never have bought it!
Maybe the rear wheels are not upto the Manchester weather.

Thank you for posting your review. I'm sorry to read that you have early wear and tear on you road bike. I'm sure that your local store workshop will address any warranty concerns with you if any part is faulty or not fit for purpose.

Had this a week now . Great bike , took a while to work out the gears , I’m a bit old school ! Very easy to set up - just pedal as and handlebars.
    • Cheap - and there is a reason for it

Used for More than 1 year
As a student I bought this bike after reading some reviews about how it is worth the money spent. Having now had it for a year, I have spent more money fixing parts which have gone wrong than I did in the first place. The latest issue is the freehub in the back wheel has gone. Ive had the chain, front derailleur and brakes also cause me problems. I would recommend this bike to someone who doesnt do many kilometers and does ride in the winter
    • best bike around for the price.

OK so I was looking to upgrade from my land rover hybred bike to a road/racing bike so I needed something light agile and resilient.
so I decided on this one after 2 months of searching. the seating position is almost standard but the handlebars feel so comfortable at low and high speeds. the tyres are very strong several times I have ridden over glass without noticing it but still no punture. the seat is very comfortable for long distance I have locked 340 miles so far and it still feels new. the free service comes in handy too....

if u are looking for a new road/racing bike but u are on a budget. look no further
    • Excellent for the money

Read reviews on the internet from various sites about many bikes. Most were more expensive than this bike and were not rated as highly. Bought instore, built instore. Great bike, only slight issue are the gears which are still not shifting 100% of the time and chain can rub on derailluer despite technicians trying to fix. Have been back to shop in Poole and staff really helpful. Will wait until cables need changing so it can be indexed from scratch. A great bike though, and a steal at this price, am now waiting for a better price on a Rockrider for those off road trails!
