    Details
    Product feature
    1. The benefits of "ball fibre" synthetic wadding
The "ball fibre" wadding is an effective alternative to feathers: - like feathers, it is composed of multiple fibres that are very good at trapping the air inside, thereby providing insulation from the cold - it offers good thermal insulation, even when wet - it is easy to maintain: machine wash and tumble dry However, it will be heavier and less compressible than a garment filled with feathers
    2. What makes a jacket waterproof?
The resistance of a fabric to water seepage. This is measured using an approved water pressure test. Bearing in mind that the average pressure of rain water varies between 2000 mm and 1000 mm, a fabric is considered to be waterproof from 2000 mm. Our products resist pressure from 2000 to 10,000mm. They are therefore very waterproof and suited to even the most extreme weather conditions.
    3. What do you mean by sealed seams or waterproof strips?
Its seams are sealed (or taped) using heat-sealed, waterproof strips. They are placed behind the seams and are essential for waterproofing clothing so that water cannot enter through capillarity (water being absorbed by the threads and holes of the fabric).
    4. Practical details:
Removable fur on the hood for easy maintenance.
    5. Windproof:
Fabric is made waterproof and windproof by applying a coating or membrane to the inside. A waterproof fabric has the technical characteristics needed to be windproof certified. It is very important to protect yourself from the wind, when active and when resting, as it drastically cools down the body.
    6. Washing:
1/ Machine wash (30 to 40°C): Hook and loop fasteners, soft wash. Wash inside out. Loosen the straps and elasticated parts. 2/ Do not fold the garment too much in the machine: this can cause wear. 3/ Do not mix different clothing types and colours. 4/ Do not bleach. 5/ Wash on a long rinse and gentle spin. 6/ Do not dry clean.
    7. Drying:
      Do not tumble dry.
    8. Ironing:
      Do not iron.
    9. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle and with different indicators. An overall ABCDE score is given to help you identify products with the best environmental performance more readily by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental impact. For more information visit: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
    Product testing

Padding : 100.0% Polyester (PES) Main fabric : 100.0% Polyester (PES) Lining : 100.0% Polyester (PES) Yoke : 100.0% Polyamide (PA) Secondary lining : 100.0% Polyester (PES)
    2. Approved by
Our young teams of testers based at the foot of the Mont Blanc and our Research and Development laboratory, which is responsible for selecting the best components.
    3. Storage advice
Best stored on a hanger; avoid folding, which can damage the coating. Ensure garment is completely dry before storing in dry and ventilated place.
    4. Product catchline
This jacket is very warm thanks to its "ball fibre" wadding that uses the same principle as natural down while having the benefits of a synthetic material, thereby providing excellent rain protection.
    5. Lab tested
Our design team is based at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are beautiful, simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced
