Our designers have developed these vulcanised skate shoes for skaters who want flexible, durable, very grippy shoes.

The vulcanised construction grips the board really well and is very flexible (boardfeel). Our polyurethane insole gives you the right level of comfort and cushioning.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Cast polyurethane insole: more comfort and protection when landing jumps.

The polyurethane insole continues to absorb impacts over time while retaining boardfeel.
At 9 mm thick under the heel and 5 mm under the toe, this insole has no fear of gaps.
As the polyurethane doesn't stay deformed after being compressed, this sole retains its initial shape and its technical properties for longer.

Hidden Rubber Toecap (HRT): laminated rubber under the leather
This additional durable, discreet protection stops holes developing as quickly on the sides of your shoes when they repeatedly rub against the board's grip.
On top of this, the shoe's outsole is 11% thicker to stand up to wear without compromising boardfeel and grip.

Sizing specially designed for skateboarding

A skate shoe is the interface between the skater and their board. This is why it's important for your shoes to be relatively close-fitting: it gives you maximum precision and board control.
We have listened to customer feedback and, based on this, redesigned it with a thinner, narrower shape. This closer-fitting shape helps you better feel the board when doing tricks, and increases precision and control in all situations.

Reducing our environmental footprint

We are constantly striving to reduce our environmental footprint. This starts with carefully selecting our materials.
The lining of the VULCA 500 II is dyed using a "dope dyeing" process that reduces CO2 emissions by 30%. Dope dyeing is where the thread is dyed before being woven into fabric.
The insole is now made from 100% recycled polyester. Its impact is 56% less than the material we used for the previous model.

What is a vulcanised sole?

A vulcanised sole is made from heat-treated rubber. Vulcanisation glues together the fabric upper, the rubber band and the sole.
This technique has numerous benefits: flexibility and grip. This gives you a better feel of the skateboard for improved control when doing tricks.

How do you choose your skate shoe size?

New vulcanised skate shoes are generally fairly narrow during the first few uses.They adjust after being worn for a few hours (the vulcanised band deforms to fit the foot). The best thing is to get skate shoes that are fitted.For narrow feet, we recommend choosing your usual size.For wide feet, do not hesitate to choose one size above, especially when wearing them on a daily basis.
