EASY SET UP/TAKE DOWN
Once out of the compact carry cover, the Rapid Tanker unfolds automatically in seconds.
The self-supporting structure means you can move it where you like once it is unfolded. To complete the set up, simply secure the bivvy to the ground via the 10 supplied corkscrew tent pegs and tension the flysheet using the 5 guy lines.
Folding the bivvy down is made simple by the Easy Guide system. There are instructions on the carry cover and an explanatory video is also available.
FISHING COMFORT
Our engineers developed the Rapid Tanker bivvy to accommodate 2 carp anglers and their gear for both short and long fishing sessions (24 hours to over a week). The volume is designed for 2 large size bedchairs and still provides the anglers with plenty of living space.
For maximum comfort at the water's edge, the bivvy also features a breathable inner tent which greatly reduces condensation.
A WELL THOUGHT OUT BIVVY
The Rapid Tanker bivvy has an awning to protect the entrance and your gear from the rain. Access to the inner tent is protected by a waterproof door with a clear window plus a mosquito net door.
For more versatility, the groundsheet can be removed very easily. With or without: you decide!
The bivvy also features a front awning which offers maximum protection from rain and sun.
NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A RAIN TEST
Providing irreproachable reliability regardless of your fishing conditions, the Rapid Tanker's waterproofing is controlled and validated in the laboratory using rigorous protocols. These tests replicate catastrophic weather conditions of 200 litres per m2 per hour. To give you a better idea, even in major storms meteorologists only very rarely get to measure rainfall of 100L per m2 per hour.
No doubt about it, you will stay dry all year round in your Rapid Tanker.
AGAINST THE WIND
The structure's resistance to wind is tested in a wind tunnel. The bivvy is secured to a turntable so that all sides of the bivvy can be tested in gale force winds. These lab tests are also verified by tests in fishing conditions.
The structure of the Rapid Tanker is built to resist violent winds in order to provide you with maximum comfort and safety in the majority of fishing situations.
You can sleep tight, knowing your brolly is built to withstand the gales!
