Robust BOTTOMS.
When we spoke to mountain bikers, there was one thing they all wanted: robust bottoms. The fabric on the sides of these bottoms is particularly robust, offering better resistance on the prickliest trails.
MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDES IN WINTER... WITHOUT GETTING COLD!
The inside of these bottoms has been brushed. This process is a way to retain heat.
The principle is simple: the fabric's weave traps air, which is insulating.
WHAT IS A WATER-REPELLENT FABRIC?
Water-repellent fabric allows water to slide over its surface and delays absorption.
This means that the fabric doesn't become waterlogged, but stays light.
Water repellency is obtained by applying a treatment to the fabric's outer surface.
HOW DO YOU PRESERVE WATER REPELLENCY?
The water-repellent treatment applied to the fabric's outer surface needs to be reactivated throughout the product's life. Our advice:
regularly use a FABRIC WATERPROOFING LIQUID (or spray) available from DECATHLON stores.
SMALL DETAILS THAT MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE
We have added a loop to the waistband for attaching your gloves. Your gloves will always be close to hand.
The lower part of these bottoms is entirely waterproof. Why? This area is exposed to a lot of water, for example when riding in the rain, when cleaning your bike with a hose, etc.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
We perform two types of heat test: one test on the fabric used to make the bottoms, and another test on a thermal mannequin in a heat chamber. In the chamber, we reproduce the temperature, wind and humidity conditions that you would encounter on a mountain bike ride. These tests allow us to check our fabric and design choices and, if necessary, redistribute the thermal insulation to where you need it the most.
