Transmission range:
In lowlands with no cover or in mountainous terrain from one peak to another: maximum of 10 km, in landscapes with mixed vegetation 4 km, in wooded valleys 1.5 km.
To maximise the transmission range, make sure there are as few obstacles as possible (including users) on an imaginary line between the two devices.
The range can be affected by numerous factors: the weather, relative humidity, presence of metal objects or power lines, the vegetation, etc.
