This gel, designed for endurance sports lasting more than three hours, will get the job done during all your long workouts or races (trail runs, triathlons, cycling or marathons).
The gel is also made with BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids), which are components of muscle protein. They are important for muscle repair. For more information, see the ingredients.
WHEN SHOULD YOU TAKE ENERGY GEL+?
To replenish your energy during sport, we suggest starting with the Energy Gels (which do not have caffeine or BCAAs). When you're three quarters of the way through your race, start taking the Energy Gel+ (one every 45 to 60 minutes, and one at the end of your race). For best results during a race, take the gel just before rehydrating for better assimilation. When training, we suggest taking water with you if there is nowhere to get water along your route.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO WITH ENERGY GEL+?
60 g of carbohydrates (= sugar) per hour of sport is the dose recommended by nutritionists for sessions lasting more than three hours. This 32 g gel pack contains 22 g of carbohydrates. We recommend drinking 500 ml of an isotonic drink per hour in addition to the gel. Don't have a way to carry a drink with you? We recommend using the HYDROGEL+, which has a more liquid consistency and contains sodium (the mineral you lose the most of through sweat).

What about anti-doping standards? The product complies with the AFNOR NF V94-001 antidoping standard as of the batch's date of manufacture.
