At Decathlon, we wanted this information to be clearer and more reliable for our customers. That's why we simply tell you the weight of the flywheel.
A double belt drive that gives smooth pedalling and uses fewer resources
On this bike, we've used a double belt drive (instead of a single belt, like most models). This has enabled us to use less material for the flywheel, while also guaranteeing smooth, silent pedalling. Thanks to this belt drive, we have a 1.5 kg flywheel which reproduces the smooth motion of an equivalent 4 kg flywheel.
