What is glutamine?
Glutamine is an amino acid considered non-essential because the body is able to synthesise it itself. It is the most abundant amino acid in muscle tissue.
What is it used for?Glutamine plays a role in protein anabolism and growth hormone secretion. It regulates cell hydration, aids recovery and helps reduce fatigue. Finally, it plays a role in immune protection.
When should you take your Kyowa Quality® glutamine?
Mix 1 spoonful (5 g) in 100 to 150 ml of water, and drink during or after training. Glutamine can also be taken before bedtime.
Glutamine can also be mixed with your protein powders, BCAAs, fruit juices and smoothies.
