PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
We recommend washing your hands well before and after each use. Clean and dry the area where you want to apply the product. To ensure that your horse will not have an allergic reaction, test on a small area first, before applying to the area to be treated.
Use
Silver Salve contains pure silver which has an antiseptic effect, along with several oils and ingredients which are explained below.
It can be used to protect the pastern from damp and bacteria.
Silver Salve may be used in combination with the Leovet zinc oxide spray.
If necessary, apply several times per day to cleaned skin to cover the affected areas. Also suitable for preventative use
ACTION and COMPOSITION (1/4)
Silver:
owing to its enlarged surface area, silver constantly releases silver ions. These ions have an antiseptic effect and repel bacteria. The skin is soothed and will regrow.
Avocado oil:
easily absorbed by the skin and the hoof wall, nourishes cracked or broken areas, penetrates the skin rapidly and, thanks to the vitamins A and E and the unsaturated fats in the oil, helps the skin to stay hydrated for longer.

Comfrey:
The allantoin in comfrey has particularly gentle nourishing properties and is well tolerated. It accelerates the development and formation of cells and soothes the skin.
Beeswax:
Has protective and hydrating properties. Beeswax forms a thin film over the skin, which protects from the outside world. It keeps the hooves hydrated. The skin is nourished and protected from irritation and drying out.

Calendula oil:
Increases the resilience of sensitive and inflamed skin and encourages skin regrowth. Aids circulation and therefore increases hoof growth. Jojoba oil:
Intensely nourishing, is absorbed by the skin and hoof wall, leaving practically no trace. Particularly hydrating without being greasy.

Pure chamomile:
This walnut shell extract lifts the colour of brown hair and gives it a natural shine. Known for being gentle and nourishing for the skin. Reduces itching and regenerates dry, cracked skin. Chamomile naturally lightens hair and gives it a golden glow.
