A rigorous standard for protections
Regulation (EU) 2016/425 applies to protective shorts. In particular, it is characterised by tests on the capacity to absorb shocks and impact tests according to EN1621-1 level 1 standard.
Choosing the right size is essential for good protection.
To choose the size of your protective shorts, here is the recommended size correspondence
Size 6 years: Hip size 62 to 66 cm
Size 8 years: Hip size 66 to 70 cm
Size 10 years: Hip size 70 to 75 cm
Size 12 years: Hip size 75 to 82 cm
Size 14 years: Hip size 82 to 89 cm

All Snowboard by Decathlon products are tested under the actual conditions of use for which they were designed: in the snow, cold and in all the conditions encountered when snowboarding (and skiing).
