Since 2020, Tribord and the French lifeboat association have been working together on all the development phases, from the initial specifications to the development of prototypes and their tests at sea.
This harness has been tested in the laboratory and at sea.
What are the possible adjustments?
The harness is slipped on at the side and is closed using a front metal buckle.
The back buckle should be adjusted so that the harness is positioned above the navel and +/- 5 cm from the sternum.
The crotch straps must be clipped and adjusted to adjust the harness properly on the body. The crotch straps contribute to the performance of the harness.
The harness must be properly tightened for maximum efficiency.

There are two loops on the chest to attach a beacon and a VHF.

The 3D droplet shape and these adjustments allow for a perfect fit on the body.
This harness is designed for sailors who weigh between 40 and 130 kg with a waistline of 60 to 120 cm and a chest measuring 120 cm maximum
What is special about this harness buckle?
The textile harness buckle is light and meets the standard 12401.
The tether can easily be attached with this buckle, which remains firmly in place.
The buckle is positioned at the centre of the jacket for more comfortable use.
