How to clean your lenses
Never use abrasive cloths, use only the cleaning wipe provided in the kit for this purpose.
Never use cleaning products, use only soap and water if washing is necessary.
The EN 166 standard includes several categories. This standard is applicable to sport shooting.
Protect the wearer from flying particles. Increased robustness: frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 22mm steel ball weighing 43g fired at 5.1m/s. These lenses are marked "S". Low energy impact: frame and lens must withstand the impact of a 6 mm steel ball weighing 0.86g fired at 45 m/s (or 162 km/h). These lenses are marked "F".
Other categories in the CE standard
Medium energy impact: similar to previous tests, with speed of 120 m/s (or 432 km/h). "B" marking. High energy impact: again similar to previous tests, with speed of 190 m/s (or 684 km/h). These glasses are marked "A” Temperature set at 23°C during testing.
