Our team of designers has developed gloves that are perfectly suited to surfing and bodyboarding in cold water, for sessions lasting more than 2 hours.

These gloves separate the thumb and index finger from the other fingers. This allows the ability of the thumb/index pinch to be maintained while retaining heat on the other fingers of the hand.

When we are in the water, we lose more than half of our body heat through our extremities (feet, hands, head).
Consequently, here are the recommended accessories:
- in warm water and temperate water (>17°C) => neoprene low booties.
- in cold water (12 - 17°C): High booties (boots) and gloves.
- in very cold water (7 - 12°C): High booties (boots), gloves, hood and hooded top...

Choose the right size

Surfing gloves should be a very tight fit to ensure the best possible thermal efficiency. It is perfectly normal for it to feel like they are too tight when tried on dry. Choosing well-fitting gloves prevents them swelling with water in use.

Materials

5 mm surf gloves are made from 100% neoprene for guaranteed improved comfort during use.
3mm on the wrist for ease of donning and to avoid over-thickness of the wetsuit.
The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for increased resistance to wear.
Inner palm of the glove in GTV neoprene for better grip of the board.
The back of the glove is Neoprene Duramesh: Anti-wind
The inside of the gloves is Plush to keep in the heat and for quick drying.

Watertight assembly

The seams are stitched and glued for a watertight seal and durability.
The seams are "blind-stitched". the thread does not go all the way through the neoprene, preventing water from getting through.
The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing.
An external seal on seams further reinforces durability and waterproofing.

Our actions to reduces the environmental impact of our wetsuits

Our diving wetsuits and accessories from the 900 range are made from Limestone (a limestone-based neoprene). The black colour of the neoprene, called Eco Carbon Black, is obtained by recycling used tyres. The glue used to assemble the textile and neoprene, called Aquaglue, is water-based and solvent-free. The dope-dyed yarn process used for the black colour is very water-efficient and environmentally friendly.
