    • Major Quality issue.

      Kaustubh (India)
Used for 7 to 12 months
Usage has been around seven months,
There is a big play in right side when locked on which also caused me injury in my right knee.

I was told by the decathlon store that the problem is with cleats, so i purchased new cleats and the play problem is still there, which is only in the right pedal no matter how much the screws of the pdeal are tightened.

All my purchase is from decathlon and I have appreciated the products always.
This is a really bad experience with this product.
      Response of the brand
      Hello Kaustubh,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. Apologies for the inconvenience caused by the product. This is a second review we are getting with a similar complaint. We request you to hand over the cleats and the pedals to the nearest Decathlon store. Let us examine the product to check where the problem is occurring. We will parallelly check if we face the same problem with the other stock as well. We will give you a replacement/a refund, depending on your preference when we take back the present product.
Please do let me know if this is feasible and then I will begin coordinating with the store where you choose to drop the pedal.

    • Well priced, easy to use, ideal for most bikes.

Used for More than 1 year
My husband loves these pedals and now has them on two bikes. Easy to use being double sided, nicely made and a good price. I'm not so confident with "clipless" pedals and may opt for a "semi-automatic" version, but that's just me!
    • Bad quality

      Praveen (India)
Used for 3 to 6 months
I've been using this pedal for a few months now and face the following problems (which I believe are quality issues with the unit I purchased):
      1. The left pedal: one side clips in properly while the other side clips in but floats around and is loose after clipping in (I have tried adjusting the screw provided until clipping in becomes extremely difficult, this does not solve the issue. It still floats around after clipping in)
      2. The right pedal: One side clips in, the other side refuses to accept the cleat even if it's completely loosened.
It may possibly be that I've picked up a defective piece since it was the last one on the rack but it ought not to have been on sale in the first place, if it was faulty. In any case, these are not exactly inexpensive and don't seem worth the money. A pair of toeclips would seem to serve the purpose just as well.
      Response of the brand
      Hello Praveen,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. Apologies for the difficulties faced with the pedals. In the installation and arrangement of the pedals and the cleats are crucial for a perfect fix. I have used these myself and the adjustment of the screws on the pedal play an important role. I suggest you take the bike to a decathlon store and try getting the cleats on the shoe and the pedals examined. Let the sales advisors make the adjustments. If the problem persists, then there should be a problem with the clip on springs. If that is the case and if the pedals are under warranty we will exchange it for you.
